BROADSTREETAPP LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company ("Broad Street," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the Broad Street mobile application (the "App"), which lets you scan trading cards, identify them, and track their market value. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address to create and secure your account. We use a one-time email code (or, for demo access, a password) to verify you. We do not collect a password from most users.
Content you create. When you add cards, we store the card details, the value at the time you add them, and the lists, watchlists, and price alerts you create. This data is associated with your account so it syncs to you.
Card photos. When you scan a card, the App captures a photo and sends it to our servers to identify the card. Card photos are processed to identify the card and are not retained by us after processing (see "Card scanning" below). The photo file itself is stored only on your device.
Usage & device information. Our servers automatically log basic technical information about requests (such as timestamps, the type of request, and response times) to operate and secure the service. We do not tie these logs to your identity.
To identify your cards and provide pricing, your scanned photo and card queries are processed by trusted third-party providers:
These providers process the image and card data to return a result to you. We do not sell your photos or personal information to anyone.
Your account and collection data are stored with our database provider and protected by access controls so that you can only access your own data. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
If you use an invite code, we store the referral relationship — which account invited which, the code used, and when — to award giveaway entries, show you your own referral counts, and prevent fraud. When determining qualified giveaway entries we also use basic account activity, such as whether an invited account has added cards. If you win a giveaway with a physical prize, we will ask for a name and shipping address, use them only to deliver the prize, and delete them after delivery; we may announce winners by first name or username with your consent. We never sell this information.
We keep your account and collection data for as long as your account is active. Scanned photos are processed transiently and not retained on our servers after identification. If you delete your account, your data is removed (see below).
Access and deletion. You can delete your account at any time from the More tab in the App ("Delete account"). Deleting your account permanently removes your collection, lists, watchlist, and alerts from our systems. You may also contact us to request access to or deletion of your data.
Scan photos stay on your device. Because scan photos are stored locally, deleting them from your device removes them.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
